Summer Fades, Businesses Boom

Aha Toro artisenal tequilaSummer may be fading fast, but we’re excited for a number of new clients opening and expanding this fall.

We’re working with Aha Toro owners, Hector and Maria, to bring their refined tequila from Jalisco, to cities throughout the US. Look for their signature versions of tequila blanco, reposado, and anejo at your favorite restaurants.

Matthew Lewis of Where Ya At Matt, will be opening Roux, a new restaurant in Fremont. Roux will be an expansion from Matt’s truck, and will continue to serve up an array of New Orleans favorites. We’ll also be working with Central Pizza, now open on Jackson, and serving up thin crust pizza (think New York style).

Say No to Toxics

The Washington Toxics Coalition is one of EJK Accounting & Tax Services' newest clients.

We’d like to take the time to welcome the Washington Toxics Coalition to the EJK circle. We’re eager to support WTC in their work to keep toxic chemicals out of our homes and workplaces, so that Washington can remain a clean and healthy place for us to live.

We especially dig their Clean and Healthy Waters campaign that is working to keep harmful chemicals out of everyday products that can contaminate our waterways and wildlife. This campaign wants to make sure our kids can enjoy the same healthy, thriving environment that we enjoy today. Whether snowboarding, sail boating, or biking- EJK staff love the great outdoors!

Calling local business owners to…

EJK is excited to work with the Seattle Good Business Network to promote our local economy.

As a small, local business owner with locally minded clients, EJK is excited to welcome the Seattle Good Business Network (SGBN) to our family.  SGBN is a non-profit organization dedicated to building unique and sustainable local economies. To do so, SGBN works with local business owners to promote their products and educate Seattleites on the importance of buying local.

Not only do we encourage business owners to become part of the Think Local program, we’re excited about SGBN’s Eat Local Now! event, at the end of this month. Thank you SGBN for being one of our hardest working business partners.
